AfghansCuisine: Biscuits Category: Biscuits Servings: 30 Ingredients:200 g Butter, softened1/2 c Sugar 1-1/4 c White Flour 1/4 c Cocoa 2 c Cornflakes CHOCOLATE ICING: 2 c Icing Sugar 2 tb Cocoa 1/4 ts Butter 1/4 ts Vanilla essence 2 tb Boiling water, approx. Walnuts (opt.) Instructions:Cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Sift flour & cocoa. Stir into creamed mixture. Fold in cornflakes. Spoon mounds of mixture onto a greased oven tray, gently pressing the mixture down with a fork. Bake at 180C/350F for 15 minutes or until set. When cold, ice with chocolate icing. To Make Chocolate Icing: Sift icing sugar & cocoa into a bowl. Add butter & vanilla essence. Add sufficient boiling water to mix to a spreadable consistency. Decorate with a walnut if desired.
