Appetizer PuffsCuisine: Appetizers Category: Appetizers Servings: 40 Ingredients:1 c Beer1/2 c Butter or margarine 1/2 ts Salt 1 c All-purpose flour 4 Eggs Instructions:These tiny cream puffs may be filled as you wish to make dainty and appealing hors d'oeuvre. 1. Heat beer, butter, and salt to boiling in a saucepan. 2. Add flour all at once. Beat vigorously with a wooden spoon until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a smooth ball. 3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth. 4. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet, 1 inch apart. 5. Bake at 450 F 10 minutes. Turn oven control to 350 and bake 5 to 10 minutes more, or until lightly browned and puffed. 6. Cool. Split and fill with desired filling.
